~A note from Grace~

"...be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:2-3​

Recently, it feels as though the craziness of summer has been consuming me! I start off fresh in the morning, but by the time I make it to the evening, I'm totally wiped. Tired Grace is not a good look, and oftentimes, Josh is the one who gets the brunt of my exhaustion and frustration.

God has had me in Ephesians 4:2-3 for the past few weeks for very good reason.

God calls us to "be patient, bearing with one another in love." My interactions with Josh are no exception. Justin Whitmel Earley in his book Habits of the Household says (paraphrasing of course) "Patience is a never-ending faucet that we decide when to turn off."

​Patience isn't dependent on your mood or situation; it's a decision you control completely. When it feels like the external pressures of everything in your day are caving in this week, I'm praying that your mind would be reminded of Ephesians 4:2-3.
