Here's what they have to say to:

All Couples

No matter the season of life you find yourself in within marriage, there’s one mindset shift that has the power to completely transform the way you love, serve, and show up for each other. At 24/7 Marriage, this is the foundation of everything we teach: “I don’t have to… I GET to.” It sounds simple, but it’s revolutionary. When you replace obligation with opportunity, marriage stops feeling like a to-do list and starts becoming a privilege. The everyday moments—big and small—become chances to build connection, deepen trust, and show your spouse that they are worth choosing again and again.

That mindset shift carries you through every season. In the early days, when money is tight and you’re wondering how you’ll pay rent, it reframes sacrifice as an honor rather than a burden. In year ten, when the chaos of work, parenting, and life makes your spouse feel more like a roommate than a romantic partner, it nudges you to lean in, not check out. And in year thirty, when the pursuit has faded and priorities have shifted, it reminds you that loving your spouse is still the most important work you’ll ever do.

When you live with an “I GET to” perspective, you stop waiting for perfect circumstances to love well—you create them. You choose kindness when it’s inconvenient, grace when it’s undeserved, and pursuit when it feels easier to coast. Marriage will always have seasons of ease and seasons of challenge, but your mindset can remain constant. This isn’t about ignoring reality or pretending things are easy—it’s about remembering that loving your spouse is a privilege, not an obligation, and that privilege is the covenant you signed up for. Serving Shannan is my highest honor. I GET to do this life with her, no matter what this life brings.
