Delete your SimpliYoked account

SimpliYoked is built for two people, so deleting an account has consequences for the person you're paired with. This page explains exactly what happens.

Option 1 — delete from inside the app (fastest)

Option 2 — request by email

For users who have uninstalled the app or can't sign in:

Email hello@simpliyoked.com from the address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account." Requests are honored within 30 days. We may need to confirm you control the email address before deleting.

What is deleted

• Your account, name, and email address
• Your notes, check-in responses, goals, tasks, and Vision Retreat content
• Photos you uploaded to date nights and retreat memories
• Your push notification token
• Your analytics identifier

What is kept, and why

• Content your partner also relies on stays with them. SimpliYoked data is shared between two paired people. When one person deletes their account, the shared record — the couple's check-in history, shared notes, date nights — remains available to the remaining partner, because it is their data too. When both people delete their accounts, the couple record and everything in it is permanently removed.
• Backups. Deleted data may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days before those backups age out, after which it is unrecoverable.
• Nothing is retained for marketing, and nothing is sold.
